Tune in to CBS "The Early Show" on February 13, 7-9 am (Eastern) to see a special on John Terry and the GOMI adventure.

The article, Empowering Youth: A Biological Approach to Youth Environmental Stewardship, authored by Jennifer Minor, Leo Elshof, John Terry and Anna Redden, has been accepted for publication in The Science Teacher, the National Science Teachers Association journal for high school teachers. The NSTA is located in Arlington, VA. It will be in the April/May issue of The Science Teacher.

Jennifer, Leo and Anna are at Acadia University, Wolfville, NS and are conducting reseach on our program. John Terry is GOMI's Director.

New England Mini-Conference will be held in Chelsea, MA. The theme will be environmental justice.

Nova Scotia / New Brunwick Mini-Conference being planned for Acadia University in late May. The theme will be related to the Bay of Fundy portion of the Gulf of Maine.

2007 Community Based Initiative Summer Workshop to be held July 8-15 2007 at the University of New Hampshire.
